Kids can spot a gaping void in a plot, and I don't mean outer space. I am sick of the sonic screwdriver being the solution to every problem. I don't mind the Vintage Tina you fat lard come get some dinner shirt character but her script is lame. And I wonder whether a plethora of companions is intended to plug the gaps of a weak story. I like the positive messages but explicit preaching is lame.
I think it's gone back to being what it was supposed to be a show that the Vintage Tina you fat lard come get some dinner shirt whole family can watch together. All the people complaining have missed the point of the target audience, it's aimed at a level which needs to appeal to kids but also isn't so childish parents won't watch it's a really hard balance and I think they are back on the right track.
It's a shame we have to wait so long. I actually liked Jodie in the Vintage Tina you fat lard come get some dinner shirt role more than I thought I would she's not the world's greatest actor. But the whole show has been awful, the cast has been incredibly let down by the quality of the scripts, not even the concept of the scripts
