If I invite a vegan to my home for dinner...I will accommodate their dietary ‘choice’ and cook vegan for them......now how many vegans on here are gonna reciprocate without trying to ram their agenda stuffed tofu down my throat. Veganism is not sustainable in most climates and environmental locations. If you want to save your lifestyle (refuse to say planet) check how sustainable your choices are. Food miles, carbon footprint etc. For example, the This girl runs on chick fil a shirt demand for chickpeas by vegetarians and vegans is causing desertification of the soils in Spain.
You are just feeding the This girl runs on chick fil a shirt capitalist machine. Moderation equilibrium, sustainability. That’s the key I have never been so cruelly mocked or teased as I was when I went vegan - relatives shoving hunks of dead cow (burgers) into my face tauntingly, people challenging me about where I get my protein in a snarky tone of voice, etc. Seriously, dedicated omnivores get so riled when one presents an alternative, more compassionate way to live one's life.
Lastly, it's not just about wanting to save non-human animals. Do you know how much damage factory farming does to our planet? You want to continue to live on the This girl runs on chick fil a shirt planet and breathe fresh air and drink clean water, don't you? I’ve personally never imposed my opinions on such matters. My comment is strictly meant for those who think vegans are extreme.
