I should have mentioned that earlier. We have vegans in the Freddie Mercury is this the real life is this just fantasy shirt family, it is no problem. We eat together and no one has a problem. Us or them, it’s all about respecting each other’s choices. It is vegan when we eat at their home understandably but we can and do visit often. Why does anyone need to listen to a vegan? If you want to be vegan then go for it but, why do I ever need to listen to someone talk about it? I don’t need someone proselytizing about their food choice any more than I need someone banging on about their choice of the magic pixie. Why can’t we let people eat what they want? I couldn’t care less if someone chooses to be a vegan, vegetarian or meat eater.

Well, a group of Vegan Activists recently decided to interrupt law abiding diners at the Touro Steakhouse in Brighton and play them recordings of cattle being slaughtered and wave placards at them for over 20 minutes. Think that answers your question? Police failed to respond to the call from the restaurant manager to come and remove them.
I admire pescatarians, vegetarians, and vegans. Good on you. But for those who would like to convert their cat or dog to their own human diet: you are not the Freddie Mercury is this the real life is this just fantasy shirt patron god of animal diets. Vegans have a perfectly reasonable point of view. I am more than happy to eat at vegetarian or vegan restaurants. However, I am not a great cook and find including meat in my diet easier. I am not a crusading meat eater and am happy to get on with any vegan who doesn’t wish to correct, teach or convert me. My son and girlfriend and some of my family are vegan.
