It just gets frustrating to think if we never really stopped going out there (beyond the space station) we might be talking about setting up a station on Mars instead just getting human feet there. Earth will be unlivable before we can make Mars an option. Love all the Niffler Santa Christmas tree sweater technology we have created over the past 2 centuries but that same technology is what will be our downfall. I have been asked to justify why I choose not to eat meat 100 times for every time I've asked why someone else chooses to eat it. Yet it's vegetarians and vegans that are always preaching... right?
It strikes me the problem is it hits a nerve and most meat eaters are more sensitive than they like to let on. Looking at these comments it looks to me the Niffler Santa Christmas tree sweater vitriol seems to be coming from the meat eaters. Reminds me of when I became a vegetarian in the early 1970s. It was regarded as quite an extremist thing to do. Whenever I would reveal this to people I usually got a hostile response. People trying to convince me the meat was good. I think mostly it was down to guilt and people not wanting to acknowledge or confront the cost of their own lifestyle choices.
Trust me. Nothing can be as extreme and primitive as taking a life of an innocent animal to feed oneself in an age where so many other food sources are available. I’ve personally never imposed my opinions on such matters. My comment is strictly meant for those who think vegans are extreme. I should have mentioned that earlier. Trust me. Nothing can be as extreme and primitive as taking a life of an innocent animal to feed oneself in an age where so many other food sources are available. Very simple to see who has the Niffler Santa Christmas tree sweater moral high ground on this.
