Really find this so hard to take on board. This home would’ve received on average about £42k per month from 14 folks to keep the Cat drop milk for the homies shirt people living there, well cared for, fed and clean. Where’s the rocket science in that? ....oh yes, of course, I forgot about a private owner may be, trying to make mega cash from vulnerable folk instead of having a vocation and duty of care. Not good enough!! Every single member of staff should be jailed for this... There is no excuse, yet everyone gets to hide behind the business responsible.
If even the low paid staff had the Cat drop milk for the homies shirt threat of jail looming, they would not allow this to happen. My father was in residential care at an Abbeyfield home for the last three years of his life. The residents were so well cared for by the amazing staff - there was never a smell of urine, or of other nasty smells Everyone working there should go to prison for this, if you can't do nothing about it, at least report the situation, otherwise you are just as bad for allowing it to happen I do a cleaning job, not in a care home.
My toilets and everything is spotless after I've finished, even if it's not my cleaning shift I still clear up, wipe service on kitchen and tables and always check toilets. But no excuse for the Cat drop milk for the homies shirt way people are treated in bad care homes or in their own homes. This should be checked all the time every day if possible. It's so sad that we can't all care for our own, or be able to count on professional to assist. It's so important to be there as much as possible and call out things that are wrong with the treatment your family receives.
