It needs to stop trying to be cultural and find writers to instill a new villain with a backstory that people can relate to. Needs to be darker and edgy. First time in nearly a decade that the Fluff you you fluffin' fluff funny cat kitten shirt show has focussed on characters rather than 'just because' science plot-holes, enjoyed watching it.
People complaining about Chibnall's writing being "too political" have obviously forgotten Moffat's final series rather quickly... I think we can live without it for a year in exchange for the Fluff you you fluffin' fluff funny cat kitten shirt improvement in quality.
It will need to be a big improvement if the Fluff you you fluffin' fluff funny cat kitten shirt show is ever going to get close to living up to its heyday. Shame it was a very good season, strong storytelling and acting, my only fault would be the music could be a little overbearing at times have killed it. It's aimed at Children and the stories are lame and boring.
