Depends where you are in the UK. My mum had cancer twice, throat then brain. Both times her diagnosis was quick, appointments accessible, treatment plans and care expedited and follow up carried out. Unfortunately, as she was in her 70's her brain cancer was such that she declined treatment and with palliative care passed within 3 months.
