There is no excuse for this what so ever, a CARE HOME is supposed to be just that, nothing less, nothing more, but decent, clean, proper and dutiful no matter what to its residents. A Parent works extra hard to provide for the Children n years later the Baby Groot and Deadpool Supreme shirt adult children puts them in a Care Home, what a Culture. Are these places regulated? Do they have on the spot visits from social services or whoever is meant to check these places, or do they ring in advance? This is appalling.
My father dies of bed sores that had got infected in one of these rarely regulated flea pits whose only aim seems to be able to charge up to a thousand pound a week and do nothing. He was not changed or washed. My eyes were opened when my sister and I had to find a care home for our mother. We visited at least fifteen and in most of them, I wouldn’t condemn my worst enemy. We finally whittled down to two and let our mother visit both and choose. We finally found a rare free bed in a council run modern purpose built care facility and that is where she spent her final year and a half. She was much better looked after but she still had to beg for a bath. Women who had been meticulous in her personal hygiene!
